Payments
We process all payments using Paypal.
LifeSpices does not collect or store credit card numbers. The credit card number is collected by Paypal’s secure payment processing system and is not shared with us.
Warranty
The Stefani water purifier units are guaranteed free from defects in material or workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The guarantee excludes:
- Damage or defect caused by incorrect installation or assembly
- Physical breakage of the candle (replacement filter improperly handled).
- Damage caused by incorrect use.
- Damage caused by lack of, or incorrect, cleaning or maintenance.
- Crumbling as a result of usage (for Terracotta Purifier).
- Improper conditioning or maintenance of the unit as described in the FAQ section under Maintenance and Assembly. Including taste of water that can be controlled by proper conditioning and will vary based on source of water.
Please visit our FAQ section for product details and other conditions that are outside the warranty. Such as, white particles forming due to lack of cleaning around the rim and in extreme conditions of mold caused by spores in the environment.This is an organic product and requires proper cleaning explained on the product information site. Lifespices does not provide claims beyond the manufacturer’s recommendations and testing.
Refunds
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed as per the our Warrant Policy described above. For manufacturing defects, we’ll be glad to replace your item or refund the full price. However, any major defects must be reported within 10 business days of ship date.
Include the original invoice that you received with your parcel and indicate the reason for the return.
We will credit your original method of payment excluding shipping and administrative costs such as warehouse pick-pack and handling fees and Paypal transaction processing fees.
Your credit card will be credited once we’ve received and processed your return. The credit may not show up on the very next statement you receive in the mail unless it is within your credit/debit card company’s billing or statement cycle, but it should appear on the next one.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item, please be advised we will charge you for shipping costs incurred for exchanges.

Shipping Rates
Our shipping rates are based on postal code/zip and geographic location.
In-Stock items are normally shipped within one business day of receiving your order. Orders placed by 11:00 AM EST, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), will be shipped the next business day. Orders placed after 11:00 AM will be shipped out the following business day.
All of the items in your order must be sent to a single “ship to” address. If no shipping option is selected, your order will be shipped Standard Ground.
Delivery
For Canadian Customers
Failed Delivery Attempts
If, for any reason CANPAR cannot deliver your parcel, it is returned to the shipper with a documented reason. When a consignee is not available to receive a shipment, CANPAR drivers will leave a notice and make two more attempts to deliver to a business address or one attempt for residential addresses.
Customer will be responsible for paying full shipping costs for failed delivery attempts.
All deliveries are based on business days and do not include weekends or holidays. Standard Ground delivery times within Canada average 4-7 business days from the time your order ships. Express Deliveries will be delivered on average within 1 to 3 days from the time your order ships. Delivery can vary depending on the destination address.
For your convenience, you will be contacted by e-mail with your shipping confirmation, at the time your order ships.
Taxes
Federal Taxes
US Customers:
Online Internet sales are exempt from sales & use taxes.
Canadian Customers:
Internet sales are not specifically exempt from sales & use taxes. The appropriate Canadian federal taxes (based on the “ship to” location) will be added to your order. This dollar amount will appear on your ordering screen.
Residents of the following provinces and territories pay the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the subtotal after shipping and handling: P.E.I., Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, North West Territories and Nunavut.
Residents of the following provinces pay the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on the subtotal: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
Provincial Sales Tax
The purchaser of the merchandise is required individually to remit the tax to the taxing jurisdiction. All taxes and exemption are applicable based on existing tax legislation by province and Territories.
Currency Conversion US pricing for CDN dollars
The pricing currency conversion rate used by the system is for estimating the price and will not be the same as what appears on your credit card. All transactions are actually settled by the banks on the following day! So in order to be accurate you would have to know the currency rate for tomorrow.
